A normal hands-on meeting with all lathes in operation. In addition, John Gough will give us a 30 minute presentation on Workshop Electrics and Safety.

Sally will turn a platter and then texture it using "kitchen implements".

There is no meeting in August, as the college is closed and therefore we have no facility available to us.

This is our Christmas Social meeting, so everybody please bring some cakes, cookies, whatever you fancy, and let's have some good time together.

This is part one of a two part demo by Dawn, showing us how to work with pine and with gold leaf. Many club members will remember Dawn from her demo in 2016, showing how to make little perfume bottles and other containers from small sized branch wood.

On this evening, Michael will talk about woodland management and demonstrate a pole-lathe.
