This is our Christmas Social meeting, so everybody please bring some cakes, cookies, whatever you fancy, and let's have some good time together.

Our normal club meeting, with lathes out and all action. Mick Littlehales will give some guidance for new members on how to turn platters.

This is part one of a two part demo by Dawn, showing us how to work with pine and with gold leaf. Many club members will remember Dawn from her demo in 2016, showing how to make little perfume bottles and other containers from small sized branch wood.

On this evening, Michael will talk about woodland management and demonstrate a pole-lathe.

Club member Wolfgang Schulze-Zachau will do some simple turnings (tealight holders, bud vases, etc.) and the evening will focus on colouring, texturing and finishing.
